We met Mike on our way out in the afternoon and he was really friendly and gave some good advice as to where to eat some local cheese. The bed was really comfortable with a good range of tea and some good coffee. The biscuits were a nice addition as well. “The location is great and the grounds are beautiful. The water park is a huge asset and kept kids ages 1-12 entertained for 4 days. The food was sadly not as good as it once was, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub area were closed while we were there for maintenance but we still had a good time. Rooms have what you need but our room was near the elevator which was a little noisy.”

“No water view. Small side balcony. Felt like we were in the worst single room in the whole complex. Dated and loads of stairs. Definitely not what we thought we were getting. Furniture old and didn’t match, bed very uncomfortable. You can cook in your room which was good for breakfast. Make sure you use the spa and pool to get some of your monies worth! Ring so you get more information about the room you’re actually paying for. Good - has a car park!”
